I have chose to pick the top 10 TV shows from Channel 4.

Judging by the top 10 TV shows from channel 4 this channel's target audience is teenagers and adults because its more for around there age range. Also the shows are on late at night which is more around the time teenagers and adults are awake.Even though the shows are aimed for adults they seem to get a lot of teenage viewers. For example Goggle Box is aimed for adults but teenagers watch it because it they're people there age on the show and they find it comedically relatable.

Animation 1930s-1960s

Animation 1930s-1960s

Disney-
Disney made a film called 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' in 1937. At first when Walt Disney seen the animations for Snow White he did not like her that much because she was to 'cartoonish' and much like Betty Boop. When Snow White was being made the Fleischer Brothers heard about it and made a film that people think is similar but it was not as popular and did not make as much money. Also no-one went to the theatres to see it. Snow White was seen as more cute unlike the Fleischer brother film. When people first seen the Sow White they where amazed because everything on the screen would move unlike before when they usually only seen one thing move. This kind of film was new to people in the 1930s.

The Fleischer Brothers-

The Fleischer Brothers ( Max and Dave) made a bunch of animated films and one of there most famously known film was called 'Mr. Bug goes to town.'. Ironically though it was not famous because everyone thought it was a good film its famous because a lot of people didn't like the film. The fleischer brothers heard that disney where making a film and they allegedly copied off it. Unlike disney who made a cute looking film with dwarfs and princess the fleischer brothers made a film about bugs. People didn't find bugs as appealing or as good looking so no-one went to see it. Although now you can find this film in many £1 shops. 'Mr. Bug goes to town' was made December 1941.

Norman McLaren-

Norman McLaren was an animator, director and producer and is known for his work on the National Film Board Of Canada. But what he is mostly known for was when he made a film with people. This was new in this time because everyone had only seen animation. He made the film out of a collection of photos with two men.
